Campus Classroom and Administration Building

In partnering with Roland Design, CMID Inc. provided design engineering services, as a subconsultant, for the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines as part of Shiel Sexton Design Build team. The proposed Campus Classroom and Administrative Building (BL066) is an approximately 28,300 square feet two story building consisting of a variety of classrooms, labs, offices and lecture space which is located at the I.U. Bloomington Campus.

CMID's services included the following:

  • Plumbing design and details for domestic water, hot water, sanitary, natural gas and compressed air systems
  • Storm drainage design and details to include roof drains, overflow and storm piping
  • Fire protection design criteria.
  • Design incoming main service and distribution
  • Design of power and lighting including site and exterior power lighting
  • Design of fire alarm, communications and security systems
